How often do you challenge yourself?
When you do, how do you rate yourself when facing adversity? Do you have perseverance? I’m a firm believer that with pure tenacity and determination, any person can make just about anything happen. The key is to have a clear vision of what you want, unwavering commitment and not be afraid to ‘go it alone’.

Having a fighting ‘spirit’ and passion when working towards your vision will show how tenacious you really are as an individual.  It takes a great deal of tenacity, courage and innovation to be a successful entrepreneur. Without these key elements, you’ll fade and wander over to the area of procrastination = lack of action.

I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”

Which brings me to another quality that successful entrepreneurs have… pride!

Having qualities like pride and belief in yourself can sometimes be misconstrued as arrogance – this is not necessarily a bad thing.  Having a belief in yourself to pursue your vision and succeed takes a bit of arrogance.  But there’s also a fine line as to how arrogant you can be as an entrepreneur.

You don’t want to be blocking out the ideas of others, and become a rude inconsiderate person. You can still have confidence in yourself, whilst not becoming self-absorbed and narcissistic.

Yes, if harnessed the right way, arrogance has its place.  Without it, you wouldn’t have the belief in yourself to succeed at what you’ve set out to do.

I can’t tell you what your grand dream is supposed to be. But once you find out what that is, here’s what you do…

  1. Write it down – in detail

  2. Break it down into manageable chunks

  3. Plan your initial step, and see it through!

  4. Schedule your time to carry-out your plan and hold yourself accountable

  5. Surround yourself with like-minded people

  6. Repeat!

Surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to feel, energies are contagious.

Surrounding yourself with the right people will impact your progress dramatically. By being in a room with others who have the same vision, or similar, you will be giving yourself the best chance of success.
